ABOUT CHELSEY
Chelsey Engel is a writer, photographer, and activist born, raised, and living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After earning her degree in photojournalism from Point Park University in 2011, she began working in communications with the United Steelworkers (USW) union. Today, she produces the USW's podcast, Solidarity Works.
Chelsey previously served as Communications Lead for State Rep. Sara Innamorato during her first game-changing campaign. Her writing has also appeared in Huffington Post and The Mighty. She published her debut novel, A SUMMER OF FEVER AND FREEDOM, in August 2019.
